Lucky Well Irish Pub & Eatery

We have gone here a few times since it is connected to The Well House hotel. Each time the food has been decent to great. The stand out is the bourbon collection! For a hotel bar, this is high end and great. What I am assuming is the owner was in our last visit. Ran over to their other bar and restaurant to get me a special pour from Old Forester. That kind of service is above and beyond! Looking forward to a next time either here or the bar.

Amazing place! Great atmosphere, friendly staff. I was blown away by what I had: crispy whiskey shrimp is sorta like that bang bang shrimp on see everywhere, but with a tangy whiskey glaze instead. It’s sooooo good. And the fish & chips: maybe the best in Butler county.

I heard so many good reviews about this place, I had to see for myself. Before we even talk about the food, the customer service was phenomenal. The fish was fresh, crispy, and flaky. The chips complimented them very well. You can’t beat good quality food along with a smooth espresso martini. 10/10!! Highly RECOMMEND

We are staying at the adjoining Well House Inn. We are glad there is outdoor seating in this glorious weather. Julia is a great server. She is very personable and made good suggestions. We started with drinks and the egg roll. My dirty martini was nice. We were hoping for a little more meat. As it was Friday, and wanted to recreate Friday Fish Fry, we did the Fish and Chips. I also had a pint of Guiness. We ended with ice cream. The interior is nicely done with lots of wood. Loved the tartan wallpaper in the bathroom.

Very nice vibe of a restaurant for what the town offers. It's an Irish pub so the food is gonna give you plenty of Irish options. It's reasonable, friendly atmosphere. The food isn't bad. It's not the worst. It's not the greatest but it's convenient for staying at the hotel and in the vicinity. Ordered a shepherds pie and it was tasty, but it was kind of a skimpy dish which still sort of had me left a little hungry or to wake up like I did extra early to be hungry. The guy next to me ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken. It looked super dry as that that's the effect the Parmesan has and I could tell he was not happy with it, which is bad when the bartender kept saying how the chicken and he was like "eh" and then she saw he wasn't eating and didn't address the issue.
